Who We Are

Doug Pelton, President and CEO

Doug is also Founder and President of Priority Automation Inc., a successful and established software development company that creates business operations software for Cisco Systems Inc. He has spent the past twenty years developing software programs for new technologies as they first emerge. Early in his career, Doug developed and marketed one of the first PC CAD programs with his father and brother at Pelton Engineering. At the beginning of the Internet, Doug developed the World Real Estate Listing service, one of the first Web-based applications. Doug also worked for seven years with the University of Victoria and the B.C. government as a systems administrator and is a well-known, sought-after database expert in his community. He has a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Computer Science from the University of Victoria.

Doug is leading the charge to take advantage of the enormous opportunities the iPhone offers to help businesses and organizations work more efficiently to increase their productivity, improve their client services and maximize their marketing capabilities.

Jim Roepcke, Chief Technical Officer

Jim has over fifteen years of experience in the education, energy, entertainment, financial, health and Internet industries industry as a software developer, architect and project manager. He is highly recommended not only for his development skills but also for bringing positive energy and leadership to teams. Jim is passionate about software usability and scalability, and has always sought the best tools available. While at NetStruxr in San Francisco, Jim contributed to the initial release of the open-source Project Wonder frameworks and the acclaimed chapters about Direct To Web in "Professional WebObjects with Java". Jim is also a founding member of the Plone Foundation.

Jim is responsible for technology direction, software architecture and project management. He has a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Computer Science from the University of Victoria where he received the President's Scholarship and UVic Fellowship.

Rick Bateman, Director of Operations

Rick's strong background in advanced technology business operations includes organizational and business process design, human resource management and customer service. He brings a wealth of experience from corporate and government environments as well as experience in small business executive and consulting roles. Rick will be responsible for ensuring management plans comply with best practices across departments.
